Una Navidad para los más pequeños

Uno de los actos más entrañables de la Navidad de Rafal tiene lugar, de forma previa a estos días festivos, en el auditorio municipal ‘Arte Musical’. Se trata del Pregón de Navidad, una actividad que, junto con la instalación e inauguración del tradicional Belén municipal, tiene lugar en los días previos al inicio de las fiestas, y sirven como pistoletazo de salida para dar comienzo a estas jornadas tan especiales para todos sus habitantes.

En dicho acto, es el momento de ceder la palabra a los niños y niñas de Rafal, los auténticos protagonistas de estas fechas. Así, los niños de 3º, 4º y 5º del CEIP Trinitario Seva de la localidad nos narran de viva voz los cuentos que han sido seleccionados y que han redactado junto a sus compañeros de pupitre. Con sus palabras y fábulas navideñas, las imágenes que evocan nos sirven para reflexionar y a pensar en términos como la solidaridad, la esperanza y la familia, tan propias de estas fechas.

Porque son los niños los verdaderos transmisores de los valores de la Navidad, y que con sus miradas iluminadas al mirar las luces del árbol, o la ilusión al poder entregar su carta a su Rey Mago favorito, nos recuerdan que la magia es real y todavía vive en su interior. Y quizá, también en el nuestro, aunque ya como adultos, no nos acordemos tanto.

Durante este acto contamos también con la colaboración de la banda ‘Arte Musical’ de Rafal, que con su música y sus villancicos, nos ayudan a recibir de la mejor manera esos días repletos de alegría y tradiciones junto a las personas que más nos quieren.

Christmas for the little ones

One of the most endearing events of Christmas in Rafal takes place prior to these festive days, in the municipal auditorium ‘Arte Musical’. This is the Christmas Proclamation, an activity which, together with the installation and inauguration of the traditional Nativity Scene, takes place in the days leading up to the start of the festivities, and serves as the starting signal for these special days for all the inhabitants.

At this event, it is time to give the floor to the children of Rafal, the real protagonists of these celebrations. Thus, the children of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade of the school Trinitario Seva narrate the stories that have been selected and have been written together with their classmates. Listening to their words and Christmas fables, the images they evoke help us to reflect and think about important terms like solidarity, hope and family, so typical of this time of year.

Because children are the true transmitters of the values of Christmas, and with their illuminated eyes when they look at the lights on the tree, or the illusion of delivering their letter to their favourite Wise King, they remind us that magic is real and still lives inside them. And perhaps, also in our own, although as adults we do not remember it so much.

During this event we also had the collaboration of the band ‘Arte Musical’ from Rafal, who with their music and carols, help us to receive in the best way these days full of joy and traditions with the people who love us most.
